The new kitchen

Here are some pictures of the new kitchen.

THE BATHROOM IS TAKING SHAPE

This week we purchased two oval mirrors, two light fixtures, a new bathtub.

We worked on sanding the mudded walls and created quite a bit of dust. Then we brought in the new bathtub and the new bathroom vanity. We also bought the granite top with two undermound sinks. It will take a couple of weeks for the top to be finished.

In the mean time the floor tile can be installed and we can start putting the wall tile up. But around the vanity it will have to wait till the granite top and splash guards are installed.

Bathroom destruction

Yesterday and today we took out the bathroom fictures. We removed the toilet, the sinks and cabinet, the bath tub, the "pink" wall tile and the old floor.

The wall for the linen closet came down and is going to be moved about a foot to the south so the bathroom will look totally different when it is going to be finished. We picked out new floor tile and new tile for the wall. We already bought new fixtures for the shower and for the two sinks. So now we need to steam off the wallpaper and then we can start putting in the new floor and wall tile, the new 60 x 21 vanity cabinet, the new bathtub, the new granite 61 x 22 vanity top with two undermound sinks.
